About Me
I am currently studying at Brandeis University, where I am working towards my MA elementary licensure and a degree in educational studies and participating in practicums in local elementary schools. I am also a teaching assistant at Lemberg Children's Center, where I work with toddlers and preschoolers.
I am a graduate of Newton South High School, where I majored in Early Childhood Education. I took a variety of courses in early childhood education and child development, interned at the Newton South Preschool, and earned my Massachusetts EEC initial teaching license.
I spent five summers working at Camp Sewataro. I was a counselor in training for two summers and a crafts assistant for one. I spent my fourth summer as the head counselor for a group of rising 2nd and 3rd grade girls and my fifth summer as the head counselor for a group of rising kindergarten boys. I learned so much during my summers at Sewataro, and being a camp counselor helped me realize that becoming a teacher was my passion.
